We invite original papers on native-DC (800VDC) power for AI data centers, from generation to the rack. Submission is free and open; accepted papers are peer-reviewed and published in the conference proceedings.

All deadlines are 23:59 anywhere-on-earth. Dates are anchored to the inaugural conference and confirmed once the venue is booked.
Papers should map to one of the Alliance's technical working groups, or to the cross-cutting track:
Native-DC generation — fuel cells, linear and reciprocating gensets, solar, marine/wind DC — and DC-coupled storage; sizing and control for an 800VDC bus; behind-the-meter and islanded microgrid dispatch.
800VDC bus architectures; voltage convention (800 V monopolar vs ±400 V bipolar); conversion topologies and wide-bandgap (SiC/GaN) power electronics; connectors and the DC physical layer; efficiency and conversion-loss analysis.
DC fault detection and interruption; arc-flash mitigation without a natural zero-crossing; grounding and bonding; protection coordination; safety cases for the data hall.
Listing and certification pathways (UL/IEC); integration with NEC and IEC codes; AHJ considerations; interoperability, conformance testing, and the path from reference design to adopted standard.
Native-DC cooling-plant equipment and motor drives — DC-fed compressors, pumps, fans, and CDUs running off the 800VDC bus; power electronics for thermal loads; the power interface between cooling and the DC architecture (not thermal or fluid standards).
Total-cost-of-ownership and reliability modeling; pilot and demonstration results; economic, policy, and grid-interconnection analysis for native-DC AI data centers.
To preserve an open, credible process, submission is free. Upon acceptance, at least one author per paper must be a member of the Alliance — an Individual ($120/yr) or Research & Academic ($1,800/yr) membership qualifies — and must register for the conference in order to present and be included in the published proceedings. Accepted papers appear in the open-access conference proceedings (with a citable DOI via an archival partner). The program committee will recognize a Best Paper and a Best Student Paper.
